What can I find on mesencheres.ch?
On our online marketplace, you’ll find antiques, paintings, books, records, and other items. Most products are sold through auctions or by making an offer.
How do I sell or buy on mesencheres.ch?
Step 1: Sign Up
Signing up as a seller or buyer on mesencheres.ch is free and easy. Click here to fill out the new member registration form. You will receive a response shortly.
Step 2: Find items
Browse auctions and offers on our site by performing a keyword search or an advanced search using the search bar at the top of every page.
Step 3: Place a bid or sell an item
Once you have an active user account, you can bid on or make an offer for any item by entering your amount in the “Bid” or “Make an Offer” field.
To sell an item, select the “Sell” tab at the top of each page, create a listing by filling out the various fields, and finish by publishing your listing.
Step 4: Pay for itemsWe use PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, or Twint for a secure and easy payment process.
Step 5: Receive items
Items are shipped upon receipt of payment.
Step 6: Manage Your Account
The “Dashboard” in the “Account” section displays all your transactions and other useful information.
Step 7: Open your own store
Once your registration is complete, you can open your online store. Simply log in, go to the “Account” page, select ‘Store’ and “Store Settings,” and choose the plan that best suits you—Standard, Premium, or Platinum—then fill in the various fields with your own information, including your logo. Also fill out the following pages: “Store Pages” and “Custom Categories.” Your store is ready.

Registration
Why do I need to register?
Buyers and sellers must register on the site to use all of its features, including the ability to open your own store. We therefore need to collect some information, which will under no circumstances be shared with third parties.
How can I change my username?
You cannot change your username once your account has been created.
What should I do if I forget my username or password?

Find Items
Start Shopping
Once you’re registered and have found the items you want to bid on or make an offer for, enter an amount in the “Bid” or “Make an Offer” field on the item’s description page.
How do I file a dispute?
Send an email detailing the issue to info@mesencheres.ch, and we’ll do our best to find a solution.
Bidding
How do I place a bid or make an offer?
Once you have a valid user account, you can bid on any item by entering an amount in the “Place a Bid” field on the item's detail page.
How can I automatically increase my bid amount?
Placing a proxy bid allows the system to automatically bid on your behalf when other bids are placed. With proxy bids, you specify the maximum amount you are willing to spend on that item, and the system will handle the rest. As other bids are placed, incremental bids will take over and place a bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount you have previously set.
How can I monitor the status of my bids?
You can monitor your bids and offers in the “Dashboard” section of your user account.
Payment
How do I pay?
Currently, payments can be processed via PayPal, MasterCard, or Visa (through a PayPal account) or with Twint.
Is the payment processing safe and secure?
Yes, buyers are protected by PayPal Buyer Protection. Please visit www.paypal.com for more details.
Shipping
Who is responsible for shipping and/or shipping costs?
If you win the auction, you also agree to pay the shipping costs listed. Please review the shipping terms before bidding or making an offer, and contact the seller if you have any questions.
Can I return the item after it has been delivered?
Generally, you will not be able to return the item unless the seller from whom you purchased it has offered this option. Please read all warranty information provided before placing a bid.
